Job Summary/OverviewThe Community Compliance Liaison is responsible for bringing properties within the community into HOA compliance, both reactively and proactively. Additionally, assisting homeowners with facilitating or completing home modifications and ensuring contractor compliance.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following statements describe the principal functions of this position and the scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Investigates community standards violations and provides photographs and proper documentation of those that are not in complianceAddresses violations with homeowners through personal visits, phone calls, door hangars, emails, and letters of noticeAssists residents with home modification applications, ensuring work is performed to HOA standardsVerifies that contractors performing modifications have current and valid insurance on file with property managementWorks closely with the Community Enhancement Specialist and Community Enhancement Manager to formally notify residents who are not in compliance with the applicable violationsFollow up with residents to confirm all matters have been completed or, if necessary, take further action to achieve complianceInspects completed modifications to verify the installation complies with an approved requestReads, understands and applies rules and regulations, declarations, and community standards to make practical applications in the fieldEnsures all documents are scanned/saved to appropriate files and databasesEnsures estoppel follow-up inspections are complete and takes the corrective action necessary to achieve complianceCompletes and submits daily activity and weekly activity reportsKeeps manager apprised of all high profile complaints and any issues needing immediate attentionMaintains records of actions/observations/results and can retrieve them as neededSupports Resident Services and Warranty department projects and other work as neededPerforms all duties in adherence to OTOW standardsStrives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practicesMaintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workersPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required2+ years in a business-related field preferredPhotography experience preferredSkills and Knowledge:Must be able to read, write, and understand English and have good verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management and public relations skillsMicrosoft Office skills requiredMust be approved by insurance to operate company motor vehicleMust be outgoing, self-confident, and organizedMust possess intense diplomacy and communication skills and be able to work independently and with minimum supervisionPersonal Attributes:Strong interpersonal skillsHonesty and integritySelf-starterInquisitive, detail-orientedTeam playerCommitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
