The Alzheimer’s Association - Orange County Chapter is seeking a Community Engagement Manager in Cape Girardeau, MO. The role focuses on mobilizing volunteers, developing partnerships, and expanding reach of community programs through local partnerships and outreach.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of volunteer mobilization experience, strong communication, and a commitment to inclusive engagement across diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements that meet organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using Association methods and manage a balanced volunteer-led Portfolio of Community Program Offerings.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships, including with underrepresented groups, to increase awareness, education, support, and brand visibility.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration to identify awareness opportunities and engage supporters to expand reach and impact.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance, and manage budgets, grants, and timelines.
• Inspire urgency and support for the Association's mission across all communities with emphasis on underrepresented groups.
