Job summary

Qualifications

• Nonprofit volunteer coordination experience preferred.
• Experience with social media, digital content, and graphic design platforms preferred.
• Background check required and must pass.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop qualified volunteers from the community.
• Maintain the volunteer database and provide reports as necessary.
• Provide in-depth training for volunteers.
• Create and email monthly newsletters to volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer groups for Christmas Red Kettle Campaign.
• Support fundraising goals through volunteer relationships.
• Collect and manage monthly records of volunteer hours.
• Develop promotional materials and community partner relationships.
• Participate in seasonal fundraising and community events.
• Represent The Salvation Army at meetings and outreach events.
