Job summary

AID of Indiana is seeking Community Engagement staff in Muncie, IN to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in family homes and in the community. The role runs 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday, with potential 10-hour shifts and travel between multiple families.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, teaching life skills, and coordinating transportation and activities to promote independence.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Engage with individuals with developmental disabilities in family homes and community settings.
• Assist with daily activities and life skills.
• Transport between homes and activities as schedule allows.
• Provide compassionate, independent support and document progress.
