Job summary

AID of Indiana is seeking Community Engagement staff in Muncie, IN. Job Details

Location: Muncie, IN | Position Type: Part Time | Education Level: High School | Salary: $16.25/hr | Travel: Up to 50% | Shift: Any | Category: Health Care

Responsibilities

Work as Community Engagement staff to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their family homes and the community. Schedule up to 10‑hour shifts that may run any day of the week. Work with multiple families and travel between homes as needed. Perform tasks based on the services the family receives, such as respite, PAC, DHI services, and transportation. Assist clients with “light” house cleaning, meal prep, community activities, life‑skills training, and possibly ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and other hygiene tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently.

Training
