Job summary

AID of Indiana is seeking Community Engagement staff to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in family homes and in the community. You may work with multiple families, with shifts scheduled to fit the family's calendar, including potential driving between homes.

Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance, plus a 401K match. Training is provided and paid. Hours vary by location; position is full-time and based in Anderson, Indiana.

Qualifications

• 18 years+ minimum age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License required; driving between homes may be needed

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light house cleaning and meal preparation.
• Support clients in community activities and teach basic life skills; assist with activities of daily living as needed.
