Location: Marlborough, MA - Peer Recovery Program
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with occasional Saturdays
Pay rate: $17.00-$19.00/hour

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for:
- Educating the public about addiction and the multiple pathways to Recovery, recruiting participants, and networking with community-based organizations in collaboration with peer volunteers.
- Assisting Young Adults on their pathway to Recovery or helping maintain a strong Recovery.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- One year of experience in a substance abuse program preferred
- Be familiar with the local recovery community.
- CARC certification preferred
- Experience providing harm minimization advice and information that reduces the potential negative impact on individuals and communities
- Experience with structured, focused, and time-limited support at the point of entry with clients waiting to access appropriate treatment/support services generated from contacts with the street population
- Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
