Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters in Houston, TX is seeking a motivated Community Management Intern to help grow our online communities. You will assist with content creation for our social channels, monitor conversations, and engage with members to build trust and brand affinity.

This paid, part-time internship runs 3–6 months with the possibility of extension. You’ll report to the Community Manager and gain hands-on experience in social media, marketing, and events while staying current on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using social media platforms for personal or professional purposes.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Creative problem solver who can adapt to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating content for social media platforms that aligns with brand voice and values.
• Monitor and moderate online communities to ensure productive, respectful conversations.
• Engage with community members via email, social media, and forums to answer questions and build relationships.
• Analyze engagement data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Assist in planning and executing online and offline events to build brand awareness.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for community management, social media, and marketing.
