Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters in Houston, TX is seeking a motivated Community Management Intern to help grow our online communities. You will assist with content creation for our social channels, monitor conversations, and engage with members to build trust and brand affinity.

This paid, part-time internship runs 3–6 months with the possibility of extension. You’ll report to the Community Manager and gain hands-on experience in social media, marketing, and events while staying current on industry trends.

Qualifications

Community Management Intern

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Community Management Intern. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in community engagement, social media, and marketing. This position will report to the Community Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the development, management, and growth of our online communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating content for social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) that aligns with our brand voice and values.
  • Monitor and moderate online communities to ensure that conversations are productive, respectful, and on-topic.
  • Engage with community members through various channels, including email, social media, and forums, to answer questions, resolve issues, and build relationships.
  • Analyze community engagement data to identify trends, suggest improvements, and track performance against goals.
  • Assist in planning and executing online and offline events to build brand awareness and foster community engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for community management, social media, and marketing.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

This is a paid, part-time internship with flexible hours. The internship duration is 3-6 months with the possibility of extension.
