Job summary

Thrivent seeks an Engagement Leader to drive community and business development through strategic partnerships, advisor collaboration, and expanded local engagement. You’ll lead efforts to grow Thrivent’s footprint by building relationships with churches, nonprofits, and business networks while supporting advisors with engagement plans and resources.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience presenting and facilitating meetings.
• Experience with remote and hybrid work to support in-person meetings and events.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and CRM tools (Salesforce).
• Ability to travel up to 50% and flex-schedule to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
• Must have proper home office environment with high speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Increase awareness of Thrivent’s Community Impact and Membership programs with clients and communities. Partner with advisors to help them raise awareness of Thrivent with their clients and communities by leveraging Membership and Community Impact programs.
• Develop and activate strategic partnerships with organizations in the region(s), including churches, non-profits, and business networks to build opportunities for engagement.
• Align impact strategies with growth strategies of the field by partnering with field leaders to develop and deliver integrated strategic plans tailored to growth markets and individual advisor growth priorities.
• Develop centers of influence relationships in communities to grow awareness of Thrivent and opportunities to tell Thrivent’s story
