Job summary

IEHP is seeking a Community Engagement Ambassador to lead partnerships and locally tailor engagement plans in the Inland Empire. You will work with city officials, providers, and IEHP teams to create events and trainings that advance our mission and member experience.

You’ll ensure compliance with Medi-Cal/Medicare regulations, leverage data insights, and maintain culturally responsive materials. The role demands independence, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building across diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Development, Public Health, Sociology, or any related field from an accredited institution.
• In lieu of the degree, four years of additional relevant work experience may be considered.
• Must be able to pass IEHP’s Medi-Cal Marketing test within three months.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and manage high-impact community partnerships.
• Design and execute innovative engagement strategies to support member retention and awareness.
• Strengthen IEHP’s presence across diverse communities with data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with city officials, community leaders, providers, and IEHP teams to co-develop events and trainings.
• Ensure public communications remain compliant, accurate, and audit-ready.
• Collect and apply community data to inform strategy and improve service connections.
• Exercise dotted-line leadership across internal and external stakeholders.
