Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to represent the organization in external partner discussions, lead communications and marketing efforts, and build pipelines that raise awareness of services in Snohomish County. The role reports to the Program Director and requires collaboration with employers to expand access points for WIOA-enrolled customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, PR, or related field.
• 3+ years in business, marketing, PR, education, or workforce development.
• Knowledge of WIOA program requirements.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with confidentiality.
• Knowledge of local region and partners preferred.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Canva, Google, and CRM tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in external partner and stakeholder discussions.
• Lead communication and marketing efforts to promote the regional brand.
• Build pipelines to enhance community awareness and engagement with services.
• Engage with employers to plan and build an access point model.
• Follow all funder protocols and maintain required documentation.
