Job description

We're seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Community Engagement Specialist to strengthen partnerships, increase community awareness, and expand participation in programs and services. This position plays a key role in building relationships with community organizations, coordinating outreach efforts, and connecting individuals and families to resources and support services.

About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations
• Represent Living With Purpose at community events, resource fairs, and outreach activities
• Plan and coordinate outreach initiatives, including health fairs, recruitment events, and community workshops
• Assist with organizing and supporting community-based programs and special events
• Conduct outreach to increase program participation and community awareness
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify service gaps and community needs
• Support marketing and communication efforts, including distributing flyers, managing outreach materials, and promoting services
• Track outreach activities and maintain records of community contacts and partnerships
• Assist in gathering feedback from community members to improve services and programming

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communications, Public Administration, Human Services, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
