City of Wichita is seeking a public engagement professional to develop, deliver and coordinate educational programs through the Mid-American All-Indian Museum. You will focus on community engagement, guest experience, and membership relations.

Responsibilities include recruiting volunteers, managing partnerships and communications, and supporting exhibits and events. A strong background in customer service, social media, Canva design, and nonprofit outreach is preferred, with valid US work

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Two (2) years of customer service experience
• Two (2) years’ experience managing and creating social media content
• Two (2) years’ experience creating flyers, promotional materials, and other visual content using Canva or similar graphic design software.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in membership management, event coordination, or non-profit/community relations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of a sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteers, student interns, docents, and service groups.
• Recruit and manage partnerships with educational and cultural organizations, non-profit groups, and local businesses
• Manage the member database and member communications
• Create routine digital newsletters, promotional updates, and event invitations.
• Assists with guest relations, greeting visitors, and handling transactions.
• Assists with exhibits, programs, and special events
• Assists in training, supervising and evaluating volunteers and/or students.
• May serve as liaison among other agencies involved in related types of work to coordinate efforts.
• Maintains records, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Maintains membership records and renewals.
• Completion of work assignments may require the operation of a vehicle.
