Job summary

San Diego Community Power is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to lead outreach efforts and act as the bridge between internal teams and community stakeholders. You will help inform the public about programs, build partnerships, and oversee events and meetings in a hybrid San Diego County setting.

The role requires strong communication, event planning, and leadership skills, with experience in public agencies or nonprofit contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five years of related experience in nonprofit/public sector preferred.
• Strong communication, event planning and outreach design experience required.
• Ability to supervise staff, interns and volunteers and manage meetings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise community engagement staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Liaise with Community Advisory Committee and manage monthly meetings.
