Job summary

Zipline’s Community Engagement Team is seeking a dedicated intern to help design and implement community engagement strategies across multiple locations, including Phoenix and Dallas. This role focuses on building relationships with local communities, government officials, and organizations to promote Zipline’s impact.

The internship is full-time and in-person, with travel to partner sites as needed. You will develop content, support events, and analyze engagement metrics while gaining hands-on

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Experience with social media platforms and/or digital tools for community engagement (e.g., Slack, Facebook Groups).
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Creative thinker who brings enthusiasm and initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to travel frequently throughout Dallas, Texas, Austin, Texas, Los Angeles, California, OR Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, promoting, and executing community events, workshops, and virtual meetups.
• Help design and implement strategies to engage community members and support outreach initiatives.
• Support content development for newsletters, social media, and other channels.
• Respond to community inquiries and engage with members across platforms.
• Conduct research on community needs, trends, and engagement strategies.
• Track engagement metrics and compile reports on feedback and outcomes.
• Provide general administrative support to the community engagement team.
