Job summary

Foundation for Recovery in Las Vegas seeks a Community Engagement Manager to lead outreach, engagement, online presence, and media relations across Southern Nevada, building partnerships and expanding access to recovery services. The role focuses on youth housing outreach and elevating the organization's mission through storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in community outreach, communications or related role.
• Proficiency with digital media platforms, SEO, CMS, and design/analytics tools.
• Demonstrated experience building partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
• Strong writing for websites, social media, newsletters, and outreach materials.
• Experience with media relations including drafting materials and coordinating interviews.
• Public speaking and presentations experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Develop an integrated communications and outreach plan.
• Lead proactive outreach to raise awareness of programs across Southern Nevada.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and info sessions for partners and the public.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate community events, fairs, and networking opportunities to expand visibility.
• Pursue media opportunities, draft press materials, and pitch stories to local outlets.
• Create and manage content for the website, social platforms, newsletters, and outreach materials.
• Track outreach activities and provide data for reports and grantee deliverables.
