Job summary

QTS Data Centers in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Community Liaison to serve as the face of QTS in local communities, building trust and facilitating dialogue with residents, businesses and government partners.

You will lead stakeholder mapping, organize public meetings, monitor community sentiment, and coordinate with the Community Impact Team to align development with local priorities while supporting regulatory processes and timely project milestones.

Qualifications

Five or more years in community engagement, public affairs or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Communications, or related field.
Experience engaging with communities around land use, infrastructure or large projects.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

Establish, strengthen and maintain relationships with residents, businesses, government officials and advocacy groups.
Organize opportunities to share project updates and solicit feedback from the community.
Lead community complaint management and ensure timely, transparent handling.
Attend public meetings, hearings and town halls to engage stakeholders.
Partner with internal teams to align development priorities with community needs.
