Job summary

ROME GROUP, Location Missouri, seeks a Community Engagement Manager to lead fundraising initiatives and expand local support for Aging Ahead’s mission. You will collaborate with staff, volunteers, and the Aging Ahead Foundation to secure funding, manage grants, and drive donor engagement.

The role includes cultivating major gifts, planning events, and overseeing digital content while ensuring donor confidentiality and compliance with fundraising ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 4+ years in fundraising or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated donor solicitation, grant writing, event planning.
• CFRE or equivalent fundraising certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement plan.
• Oversee grant life cycles from research to management.
• Cultivate and steward donors including individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Manage agency-wide fundraising activities and events, including campaigns.
• Oversee sponsor relations, communications, and engagement.
• Represent the agency to build community support and reach.
