Coney Island Preparatory Public Charter School in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Family & Community Engagement (FACE) Manager to strengthen family involvement and expand enrollment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; at least three years of teaching, school operations or community organizing experience.
• Background in adult education, advocacy, grassroots organizing, recruitment or community organizing preferred.
• Experience with organizing large events and meetings and with budgeting software.

Responsibilities

• Build a diverse, equitable and inclusive community by understanding each member’s needs.
• Serve as a trusted contact for families throughout recruitment, enrollment and registration.
• Organize two network-wide family engagement events per school year.
• Collaborate with the Director of Student Recruitment & Enrollment on strategy and implementation.
• Ensure newsletters include organization-wide and community resources.
