Job summary

Coney Island Preparatory Public Charter School (Coney Island Prep) is seeking a FACE Manager to strengthen family engagement, support student recruitment and enrollment, and build community partnerships from our network office in Brooklyn. The role is hands-on and outward-facing, focusing on turning ideas into action and expanding CIP’s reach.

The FACE Manager will report to the Director of Student Recruitment & Enrollment, manage processes with an emphasis on operational excellence, and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; at least three years of teaching, school operations or community organizing experience
• Background in adult education, advocacy, grassroots organizing or recruitment is preferred
• Experience with organizing large events and managing budgets

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for families throughout recruitment, enrollment and registration
• Engage families at campus and community events to strengthen engagement and retention
• Organize network-wide family engagement events and manage event budgets
• Collaborate with leadership on strategy for recruitment and enrollment
• Coordinate communications about enrollment processes and newsletters
• Review enrollment data to identify trends and address gaps
• Travel to all campuses in the Coney Island area and attend events, including some evenings and weekends
