Job summary

Cohere Life, Inc. seeks an Engagement & Communications Manager for Silverwood in Hesperia, CA. This onsite role leads resident events, builds community relationships, and crafts authentic communications to keep homeowners informed and engaged.

You will partner with the marketing team and volunteers to deliver impactful programs, manage budgets, and ensure events reflect Cohere’s brand while delivering memorable resident experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in communications, community engagement, hospitality, event management, recreation management, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• Experience independently planning and executing resident-facing events and programming from start to finish.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for resident-facing communications.
• Experience managing multi-channel communications (email, website, newsletters, print materials).
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and multiple project details.
• Budget creation and/or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute resident-focused events from concept to completion for 300+ attendees.
• Build traditions and signature experiences reflecting Silverwood’s brand and community.
• Develop opportunities for residents to connect through activities and clubs.
• Identify vendors, negotiate pricing, and coordinate required documentation.
• Use feedback and participation data to shape future programs and engagements.
