Cohere is seeking an Engagement & Communications Manager for Silverwood in Hesperia, CA. You will lead resident-focused events, build meaningful community experiences, and shape resident communications.

This onsite role collaborates with developers, marketing, and volunteers to foster belonging and active involvement in Southern California’s growing Silverwood community. With 5+ years in communications or related fields, you’ll create engaging programs, manage vendors, and ensure consistent

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in communications, community engagement, hospitality, event management, recreation management, nonprofit management, or a related field with transferable experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute resident-focused community events, programs, celebrations, and social activities from concept through completion, ranging from intimate gatherings to larger community events of 300+ attendees.
• Build traditions and signature experiences that reflect Silverwood’s brand, culture, and growing resident community.
• Develop opportunities for residents to connect through social activities, volunteerism, clubs, enrichment programs, and other community-building initiatives.
• Identify and manage vendors, negotiate pricing and contracts, and coordinate required documentation.
• Use resident feedback, surveys, and participation data to help shape future programming and engagement opportunities.
