Job summary

Positive Pathways Family Services is seeking compassionate Community Engagement Coaches to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. You will provide one-on-one support in community settings based on each person's ISP, helping clients build life skills and participate in everyday activities while upholding dignity and choice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or related settings preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in community settings per the ISP and service authorization.
• Encourage participation in community activities, recreation, volunteering, education, and employment exploration.
• Develop communication, decision-making, self-advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
• Support development of independent living skills: budgeting, shopping, meal planning, transportation, community navigation.
• Promote healthy relationships and independence; observe and report changes in health or safety.
