Job summary

The Dalton School seeks a Community Engagement & Belonging (CEB) Program Associate to provide administrative support for CEB Office programs. This role emphasizes project management, multitasking, and strong interpersonal skills to coordinate events and logistics.

You will work with multiple constituents across the school, shaping and sustaining CEB events with a professional presence, enthusiasm, flexibility, and initiative, reporting to the Chief of Community Engagement & Belonging.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; minimum of three years of administrative support experience.
  • Experience in a K–12 educational setting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong commitment to progressive education, anti-racist practices, and student-centered pedagogy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative office tasks for the Chief of Community Engagement & Belonging.
  • Manage the CEB office schedule, event calendar, meetings, travel, calls, and correspondence.
  • Organize CEB expenses, invoices, and vendor coordination across departments.
  • Serve as contact between the CEB Office and the community; draft communications and newsletters.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, take minutes, and support hiring processes.
  • Assist in special projects and events for employees, alumni, parents, and families.
