Job summary

Upbring seeks a Family Engagement Advocate to create and coordinate family services within the Head Start program in George West, Texas. The role emphasizes engaging families, linking resources, and promoting healthy living and family culture.

You will work with social services, health, nutrition, and mental health teams to connect families with community supports, ensure POLICIES and PIR data accuracy, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; willingness to obtain Family Development Credential within 12 months.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3 years related experience or training with families.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program enrollment and ERSEA duties per Head Start standards.
• Provide family services, referrals, and crisis support to promote child well‑being.
• Coordinate with staff and community partners to engage families.

Education

Associate's degree in Social Services, Human Services, Family and Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Family and Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field

Bilingual in Spanish and English
