Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a Resident Experience Coordinator (Full-Time) in Fanwood, NJ. You will manage resident activities, coordinate events, and collaborate with the management company to meet resident needs and promote engagement.

Ideal candidates have a background in social services or related fields, strong organizational skills, and experience coordinating budgets, transportation, and marketing-friendly events. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in social services, business, or related field.
• Proven management experience and ability to manage staff.
• Minimum of three years' experience in assisted living preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident interest and activity needs at move-in and follow up with new residents within 7 days.
• Coordinate daily resident activities within budget; develop monthly calendar and promote participation.
• Plan quarterly events involving marketing with Community Relations Director and staff.
• Provide and staff transportation for activities and medical trips.
• Ensure safety compliance and manage workplace safety communications.
• Foster teamwork and support others beyond job duties; perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate or Bachelor\'s Degree strongly preferred in Social Service, Business, or related field
