Job summary

Distinctive Living in West Milford, NJ seeks a Part-Time Resident Experience Assistant to coordinate resident activities and manage the monthly calendar. You will arrange entertainment, plan outings within budget, and work with the Director, Lifestyle and Leisure to support resident well-being and engagement while ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or higher, 3+ years in assisted living preferred, and experience with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating resident activities and events.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 3+ years in assisted living or similar settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Personal Well-Being Profile and orient new residents within 7 days.
• Arrange entertainment within budget and promote activities to boost participation.
• Plan quarterly events with setup and cleanup and coordinate with marketing-like activities.
• Schedule resident outings and transportation.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with safety committee requirements.
• Foster teamwork and support colleagues and residents as needed.
