Job summary

The University of Chicago Medicine’s Chicago Center for HIV Elimination seeks an Employment Services Coordinator to support retention in care and coordinate employment-focused services for clients referred through our research projects. This grant-funded role involves coaching, workshops, and community outreach to promote employment opportunities.

You will work with staff and clients, build relationships with local employers, document resources, and ensure fidelity to data collection protocols

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• 2-5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing employment coaching and job readiness training to staff and clients.
• Facilitating employment workshops.
• Building relationships with businesses and organizations that provide employment opportunities.
• Documentation and resource counseling for community members, with focus on people of color and LGBT communities.
• Coordinate with day-to-day Supportive Services tasks and rapid response for treatment access.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks under supervision.
• Utilize clinical study knowledge to coordinate data/samples.
