Job summary

City of El Paso seeks an experienced professional to plan, coordinate, and manage educational and cultural programs engaging with the community citywide. The role develops partnerships, evaluates initiatives, and expands audience reach through schools and community organizations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, staff supervision, and grant-related activities to sustain and grow programs. Weekend work may be required; a Texas driver license is required by appointment date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field.
• Three years of professional experience in education outreach, public engagement, or community programs.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License or equivalent by appointment date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage educational and cultural programs engaging with the community citywide.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate education and exhibition initiatives and partnerships.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and program administration for the education division.
• Build alliances with schools and community organizations to expand audience reach.
• Identify funding opportunities, prepare proposals, and manage grants related to programs.
• Supervise assigned staff and ensure program effectiveness; perform notes on outcomes.
