Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Providence County seeks a Food Pantry Worker & Community Driver to support daily pantry operations and provide reliable transportation for client deliveries in Rhode Island. The position involves stocking, distribution, inventory support, and collaboration with volunteers and partners.

Qualifications

• Valid Rhode Island driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background check clearance required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in food pantry, food distribution, warehouse, delivery, or human services preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
• Documentation establishing authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the PVDCAP Food Pantry.
• Provide safe, reliable transportation and delivery to clients.
• Assist with homebound food deliveries and donation pickups/drop-offs.
• Respond to emergency food requests and participate in pantry stocking and distribution.
• Support inventory and general pantry operations.
