Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous serving experience required.
• At least 1 year experience as a bartender/server.
• Food Handlers Card

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant for lunch by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Explain chef's specialties; identify appropriate wines; answer food prep questions.
• Stay updated on current menu choices and special dietary needs.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording resident choices and requests.
• Serve orders by delivering to patrons and providing condiments.
• Maintain table settings; replenish utensils; refill water glasses; address spills and needs.
• Open and pour wine at tableside.
• Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issue bill; accept payment; return receipts.
