Job summary

The Bungalows at Nevada is seeking Cooks to join their team. The Cook reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director with shifts from 6am to 7pm, Mon-Fri and every other weekend.

This role focuses on quality food preparation, sanitary handling, and adherence to safety standards in the community. Responsibilities include following Phoenix standardized recipes, maintaining records, and ensuring temperatures and portions meet regulatory and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One (1) year job related experience including food preparation and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or able to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus and recipes.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and ensure safety standards.
• Operate dish machines and sanitation processes.
• Record temperatures of equipment and food as required.
• Adhere to regulatory procedures and quality standards.
