Job summary

The Bungalows at Nevada is seeking Cooks to join their team! The Cook reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director and will handle food prep, sanitation, and adherence to menus and recipes in a community setting.

Experience in food production, quality control, and maintaining records is required; SERV Safe certification is preferred or can be pursued. This on-site role includes shift coverage and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One year related kitchen experience.
• Serv Safe certificate or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals following approved recipes and menus.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in all food service areas.
• Record temperatures, quantities, and other regulatory data.
• Assist with inventory, rotation and production planning.
