The Bungalows at Chesterfield Village is seeking a Cook to join their team. The Cook reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director and is responsible for all food preparation to meet quality and service standards for the community.

Open availability is required. Education includes High School Diploma or GED; culinary training and SERV Safe certification are preferred. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and regulatory procedures in daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Culinary apprenticeship or formal training preferred.
• One year of related cooking experience including menu items and therapeutic diets.
• Current SERV Safe certificate or ability to obtain one during training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals while following approved recipes and menus.
• Maintain sanitation of all food service areas and equipment.
• Record keeping and inventory management; monitor temperatures and holding times.
• Follow food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage kitchen operations in absence of Lead Cook or Food & Beverage Director.
