Job summary

NASB Financial, Inc. is seeking a Community Development Manager in Kansas City, MO to advance CRA/CD objectives by forging partnerships with nonprofits and community groups serving LMI communities.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, education, and coordinating outreach and events on a local level. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in community development or related fields, a BS/BA, and strong communication skills in English (Spanish preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in community development, nonprofit, banking, CRA, or related field.
• NMLS registration current or willingness to obtain; mortgage duties may follow.
• English proficiency required; Spanish preferred for outreach and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support CRA/CD strategy and initiatives by engaging nonprofits and community groups.
• Build and maintain relationships with housing orgs and stakeholders serving low‑to‑moderate income communities.
• Represent NASB at meetings, events, and coalitions as a community ambassador.
• Conduct listening sessions to assess lending, investment, services and education needs.
• Coordinate internal partners’ participation in outreach, education, events, and marketing materials.
• Develop and update financial education curricula and materials.
