Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union in Tampa, FL invites a Community Development Intern for Spring 2027. This hybrid internship supports underserved communities, with data collection, database maintenance and event assistance. Pay starts at $20/hr; interns must be enrolled at USF, UT, or USC to qualify.

Start dates: Jan 26–27, 2027; orientation Jan 29, 2027. Schedule up to 29 hrs/week and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a student pursuing a degree at the University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina.
• Successful completion of an analytics course required.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Visio or other visualization tools preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to learn complex skills or software with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support community development activities and initiatives aimed at underserved communities.
• Collect and review data, compile information and maintain databases, assist with research efforts.
• Provide administrative support and event support as needed.
