Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is offering a Business Transformation internship that can be fully remote with options to work from HQ or retail locations. The role starts in Spring 2027 and requires current enrollment at USF, UT, or USC, plus basic data skills and a willingness to learn.

The internship pays competitively and keeps standard business hours. Ideal candidates will have strong communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities, with comfort in MS Office and visualization

Qualifications

• One year of prior work experience is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with staff.
• Ability to work independently and learn complex software with minimal supervision.

Grow Financial is headquartered in Tampa, FL. For remote roles, candidates must be located in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WV, WI, WY.

Responsibilities

The Business Transformation intern will learn the duties of the Business Transformation team and assist with process mapping activities across all Grow Financial business units. This position may include documentation, data gathering and analysis, and assistance on other Business Transformation projects. Must be comfortable working with subject-matter experts, large amounts of data in multiple systems, and can synthesize data into actionable insights. Frequent collaboration with other areas of the credit union is expected.

Internship to start Spring 2027.

Competitive pay starting at $20/hr. Must be enrolled at University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina to qualify for a Grow Financial internship. Start date: Staggared start Tuesday January 26th, 2027 & Wednesday January 27th, 2027 New Hire Orientation: Friday January 29th, 2027

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree at the University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina.
• One year prior work experience required.
• Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Visio or other visualization tools preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to learn complex skills or software with minimal supervision.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
• Must be able and willing to collaborate on camera via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx.
• Standard Business hours are 8:00am- 5:00pm, Monday- Friday.
• Interns will have flexibility around school schedules. Please note schedule will not exceed 29hrs/week.
