Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Rome, GA is seeking a Community Response Behavioral Health Therapist to join a county collaborative team with the Sheriff's Office and Community Services Board. You will assess potential mental health and substance use disorders, de-escalate crises, and connect individuals to ongoing treatment.

You may call upon the 1013/2013 processes for emergency transport when needed, and will document care while coordinating with team members to arrange wraparound

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral healthcare is required.
• Active license: LPC, LCSW, LMFT.
• Minimum 3–5 years of human services, social work and/or clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential mental health and/or substance use disorders in community crisis situations.
• De-escalate individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
• Link individuals to appropriate ongoing treatment services.
• Execute 1013/2013 processes for emergency transport when necessary.
• Coordinate with team case managers and community partners for wraparound services.
