Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking dedicated staff to help transform lives within the criminal justice system. This role focuses on offender supervision, data collection, and collaboration with courts and Parole Board to ensure public safety.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience as a Probation & Parole Assistant, Correctional Officer, or Office Support Assistant or above within the Missouri Department of Corrections, OR four or more years of related vocational or paraprofessional experience; and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Investigates offender's home, work, and social environments for circuit courts and Parole Board; collects and evaluates data and incorporates into reports to determine supervision strategies.
• Contacts offenders in their homes, workplaces, or confinement and counsels them on personal and adjustment problems; attends court to receive assignments and reports.
