MissionCare at Bennington is seeking a part-time Community Concierge for evening and overnight shifts (4pm-12am and 12am-8am) to uphold safety programs in compliance with federal and state standards. The role emphasizes resident and employee safety, sign-in procedures, and vigilant monitoring.

You will work with social services, conduct safety checks, manage wander guard tasks, and maintain excellent customer service while directing visitors to appropriate areas.

Formación

• Minimum of one year security experience.
• Familiarity with skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Must be able to speak and write the English language.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain sign in/sign out log and ensure visitors and residents sign in.
• Perform full and random house/room searches to identify predispositions and LOAs.
• Facilitate room change procedures/checks.
• Ensure safety status forms are utilized and status updates are appropriate.
• Coordinate with Social Services for safety checks upon resident admission.
• Resident gatekeeper to prevent unauthorized exits from the facility.
• Perform wander guard and window checks.
• Notify appropriate department when special security instructions are received.
• Report known or suspected incidents of fraud or resident abuse to the Administrator.
• Maintain high level of customer service and direct individuals to appropriate places.

Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to implement and uphold the facility’s safety programs in accordance with federal, state, and facility standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that resident and employee safety can be maintained through appropriate safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sign in/ sign out log. Makes sure all visitors and residents sign in and out.
• Performs full and random house/ room searches proactively to identify predispositions and LOA’s
• Facilitates room change procedures/ checks
• Ensures safety status forms are utilized and status updates are appropriate
• Coordinates with Social Services for safety checks upon resident admission
• Resident gatekeeper, ensuring residents without privileges do not leave the facility.
• Performs wander guard and window checks
• Notifies appropriate department when special security instructions are received.
• Reports known or suspected incidents of fraud or resident abuse to the Administrator
• Maintains high level of customer service, smiling greeting, and directing individuals to appropriate places.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year security experience, preferred.
• Familiarity with skilled nursing facilities, preferred.
• Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and work with all disciplines in a challenging and diverse multicultural environment.
• Must be able to speak and write the English language.
