Job summary

A Climate to Thrive (ACTT) seeks a Manager of Community Connection and Climate Preparedness to support local communities on Mount Desert Island and throughout Maine. The role builds networks of care, coordinates climate action, and works across partnerships with ACTT and collaborators.

• Familiarity with community organizing; experience in rural communities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support local communities in preparing for climate-related impacts and build networks of care and action.
• Engage in statewide networking, information-sharing, collaboration, and advocacy for ACTT initiatives.
• Collaborate with ACTT team and multiple partners to advance programs and impact.
