Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience in advocacy or civic engagement.
• Knowledge of local government structures and public decision‑making processes.
• Experience with community‑based organizations, coalitions, or public agencies.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and accessibly.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with community members and support active participation in civic processes.
• Gather and elevate community feedback to inform programs and advocacy.
• Organize and facilitate community meetings, listening sessions, and forums.
• Develop civic engagement initiatives based on identified priorities.
• Support participation in hearings and coordinate with government agencies and partners.
• Monitor policy developments and translate into accessible materials for staff.
