Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leadership professional to supervise hourly associates, support store operations, and drive financial performance in Alabama. The role emphasizes coaching, policy compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service while fostering a culture of belonging and integrity.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage trainings, and participate in community outreach programs that reflect Walmart’s values and EDLP/EDLC business model.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise hourly associates, hiring, mentoring, and assigning duties to achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards and drive customer-service initiatives.
• Support store manager in financial performance, budgeting, and planning; analyze reports and implement action plans.
