The Cesar-Chavez-Foundation is seeking a Community Service Coordinator to oversee Si Se Puede Community Center programs across multiple sites. You will supervise residents, volunteers, and interns, while building partnerships and delivering afterschool, social services, meals, health/wellness, and outreach activities.

Ideal candidates will have 48 college credits, bilingual ability, MS Office knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifikationen

• Preferred - Have at least 48 units of college credit from a two-year accredited college or related experience in Education/Youth Development/Community Services
• Preferably bilingual
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/Access) required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Live scan Fingerprint/ background check
• Must provide proof of a negative TB test result taken within the last 2 years
• A valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years
• This position does require the individual to commute between sites
• Must be First Aid/CPR/AED certified (or obtain within 30 days) and maintain those certifications
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as required for transportation, set up and conducting activities
• The ability to create partnerships to ensure all site/programming requirements are being met
• Essential Worker Position (This is not a work from home position)

• Maintain all ethical practices of the Chavez Foundation. by serving the community with character, integrity, dignity, and a high degree of professionalism
• Manage all Si Se Puede Community Center Programs, which consist of an Afterschool Program, Resident Social Services, Meal Distribution, Health and Wellness and Community Outreach
• Friendly, outgoing personality that establishes a welcoming environment within the facility for members and visitor
• Skill in maintaining record keeping and document retention systems and in compiling comprehensive reports
