Palatine Park District is seeking a Facility Attendant to support the Community Center's daily operations, including upkeep, room setup, guest assistance, rule enforcement, and facility security. Outdoor washrooms are also cleaned seasonally.

The role averages ~25 hours per week year-round with a starting wage of $17.00/hour, requiring availability for nights and weekends. This is an on-site, team-oriented position within the Parks & Rec life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class D Driver's License.
• 1-2 years facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain positive customer service in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Responsabilités

• Clean and upkeep the Community Center interiors and facilities.
• Set up and takedown room configurations for events.
• Provide customer service and enforce facility rules and regulations.
• Secure the facility and assist with special events; may lead custodial staff on duty.
