Job summary

REM Community Services, a Sevita family member, is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate support for individuals with developmental disabilities in community settings. You will assist with personal care, help participants engage in activities, and support them in daily living while building trust and promoting independence.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and as-needed schedules with a full benefits package, PTO/holiday pay, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
