Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a dedicated caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community setting. You’ll assist with daily living tasks and help participants pursue meaningful activities in a mission-driven environment.

The role offers a full-time schedule (Tue, Wed, Thu 2p–10p and every other Sat/Sun 2p–10p) with competitive pay of $19.53 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants participate in community activities and outings.
• Develop meaningful relationships with participants and follow care plans.
• Ensure safety and well-being under supervision and adhere to policies.
