Job summary

Rakhamimcare is seeking a dedicated care assistant to live with a client for a set period, delivering compassionate personal care, including washing, dressing, meal assistance and record keeping. You will build trust, promote independence and respect, while supporting nurses and the wider care team.

You will work flexible shifts with various booking options and have the chance to thrive in a role that values safety and dignity. A DBS check is required and onboarding is provided after interview.

Job description

This role involves living with a client for a set period, assisting with all aspects of personal care, including washing, hygiene, dressing, meal assistance, and record keeping. You will build strong, trusting relationships and promote the client’s independence, choice, dignity and respect. The role also supports registered nurses in care settings, providing support for the client’s physical and emotional well‑being and social care needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK paid experience as a care assistant within the last 5 years
• New DBS check or DBS with Update Service
