Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to prevent loneliness and build relationships with clients.
• Assist with personal care and daily hygiene routines.
• Collect prescriptions, provide reminders, and assist with medication administration.
• Prepare meals and drinks to support residents’ nutrition.
• Assist with housekeeping to maintain a clean, comfortable home.
• Support mobility and help clients participate in the local community.

Pay Rate - £13.50 per hour plus 35p per mile
Location - Ripley and surrounding areas
Hours - Flexible

About the position

CCH is in search of caring and empathetic Care Assistant to provide dedicated support to the local people of Ripley, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and professionalism.

As an integral member of CCH, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life of each individual under your care.

Your responsibilities will include

• Companionship–being a friendly face & preventing loneliness, whilst building relationships with your clients
• Personal Care–all aspects of personal hygiene
• Medication–collecting prescriptions & providing reminders and administrating medication
• Mealtimes–preparing tasty meals and drinks
• Housekeeping–keeping their home just the way they like it
• Mobility–supporting our clients to be part of the local community

The successful Care Assistant will ensure this is done with the highest level of understanding and dignity for our clients.
